Driving theory test in Poland

If you want to become a holder of a driving licence in Poland, you have to go through a theory exam and a practical exam. You have to pass both parts to get your licence. The theory test consists of eighteen multiple choice questions connected with traffic rules, road signs, first aid and right of way rules. To pass the exam, you have to mark all correct answers. If you mark an incorrect answer or fail to choose a correct one, you already have a mistake on your account. It is possible to make two mistakes for category B. No mistakes are allowed in case of any other category. Each participant is given twenty–five minutes to complete the test. It is possible to finish the test earlier. Should the examinee be taking two tests at a time, they are given thirty-five minutes to complete them. If you are not a speaker of Polish, you may ask for a translated version of the theory test. If the requested version is not available at a given examination centre, you may take an oral exam with the help of a sworn translator. Remember that once you pass your test, the results remain valid for six months only. If you do not manage to complete your practical examination within that time, you will be asked to retake the theory test.
